Neighborhood
Boston’s downtown neighborhoods are like small towns that have been incorporated into a big city. Located in any one of these areas, residents enjoy an active and fun-filled lifestyle. Students, artists, business professionals and families alike are drawn to Boston’s charming downtown neighborhoods for their community vibe. From live music and street festivals to local gallery shows and street fairs, all kinds of activities take place throughout downtown Boston on a regular basis.
Nearby Attractions
Hyatus offers a great selection of furnished corporate apartments in downtown Boston. It is a great area to explore, with loads of fun and exciting things to do. One of our favorite Boston attractions are The Freedom Trail which is a 2-mile trail that runs through Boston. The trail follows 16 sites important to American history and spans 16 blocks from Boston Common up to Castle Island. These sites include Old State House, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere House and more!
Getting Around
If you’re coming from out of town, chances are your rental car will be useless in Boston. The city is notoriously difficult to navigate on public transportation, but there are some train routes that go downtown and many affordable cab companies. If you’re considering a taxi or a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft, ask about daily vehicle restrictions that could make traveling within Boston cost prohibitive. 3. The list goes on but we thought you should get started somewhere! There’s no way we could possibly list all of our favorite places here...but feel free to give them all a try and let us know how you like them by leaving your thoughts in the comments below! Thanks for following along on today’s tour. As always, see you soon!
Local Spots
We asked some local business people to tell us their favorite downtown Boston attractions and best of what to do in downtown Boston. Keep reading for great tips, fun facts, and more! Here are a few of our favorites: 1. Tourist at heart? Take a stroll through Downtown Crossing. This historic shopping district is filled with tons of boutique shops and chic cafes--no wonder it's such a popular spot for tourists! 2. Need inspiration? Check out Symphony Hall. One of Beantown's most iconic locations, Symphony Hall hosts an impressive range of events year-round including concerts, Broadway shows, weddings, conferences, workshops and more.
I enjoyed staying at Hyatus' apartment for a week. It is very cozy and comfortable, with easy access to public transportation. Although i didn't get to meet them in person, but the team was really helpful over email and we communicated really well. Highly recommended if you are visiting Boston! Thanks Hyatus 🙂
You feel like you're staying in a private apartment, not a cramped hotel room. The host is friendly and super responsive. I felt taken care of. You can come and go as you please without bothering anyone or waiting for a key. The location is great, everything within walking distance or easily accessible by public transit within minutes.
Good! (word minimum for this review blah blah blah)
great living room, well equipped kitchen, good bathroom. There is a great mattress, tv, laundry machine and air conditioning. The location of the building could not be better: close to everything in Boston downtown but very quite at night. To sum up i really enjoyed staying here highly recommended! Also Hyatus (the host) was very nice to deal with.
