Mountainhome Spruce Cabin 8BR / 4BA

This house and property worked great for 4 families with young kids. The house was prettier inside than the pictures indicated. There were plenty of spaces for people to hang out including the back sun room for dining, front sun room for lounging games and workout, the living room, and the game room. The kitchen was well stocked and linens were plentiful plus all the extra things you forget (toothpaste, paper towels, trash bags). The outside was so great for the kids to play including the playground, creek, outdoor games that were provided, and plenty of seating. We enjoyed fires outside (but wished fire wood was provided). For the most part, the house was clean and cared for. Thank you!

It is a beautiful home with lots of amenities and lots of areas to relax and spend time with family (or be by yourself, if needed or desired). The host provided lots of proactive communication, and we found the location, the home, the amenities, and everything about our stay to be good. The game room was especially fun and helpful for our kids (and adults too!) who enjoyed playing the games and watching the World Cup on the big screen tv. There are lots of great rooms to relax in, exercise in, sleep in, etc. There is a wonderful dinner table and two nice gathering spaces (one of them in the game room). The master bedroom is incredible, though located above the game room so be careful if you have gamers who want to play late into the evening (it will be loud in the master bedroom!). All-in-all, it's really a wonderful place to stay and was nearly a perfect experience for us. We are thankful for the time we were able to spend there.

Had a nice family reunion. Enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and nearby creek. Accommodated a large group. Very peaceful, but close to antique stores and other shopping.
