New Haven Pierpont 1BR / 1BA + Den

Stayed here in September 2026. The weather was beautiful luckily because the walking distance was longer than anticipated. We had a large amount of cash taken during our stay. We tried to work with the host to have it returned but it was unsuccessful. Someone came into our apartment without our knowledge about 15 minutes after we left one day. The reason we knew about it is because we forgot something and had to go back, and ran into them. I felt unsafe after this and obviously didn’t like someone entering our apartment like this. And then to have money missing was another reason we will not be staying here again. No inside deadbolt/door chain or additional lock on the door either so anyone with a code can enter, even at night when you’re sleeping.

A RESORT FEEL IN DOWNTOWN NEW HAVEN: Great stay…1000 words aren’t enough but I’ll try! From start to finish the communication was phenomenal! The building was everything and more. So many amenities. The best part was, well there were many. They provide everything you need if you just ask, from toilet paper to laundry detergent. The building staff was friendly and introduced themselves and made sure we had everything we needed. From the movie theater to the bowling alley, golf simulator and the rooftop lounge we were in heaven. The only thing that would make this more perfect would be if it were by the beach. We loved walking to dinner and back. We felt extremely safe. The space was just enough for my husband and I, fully equipped with everything we needed! The bed was amazing. We are definitely going to order us the exact model! The couch in the apartment just hugged you and made us not want to move! TRUST ME IF YOU STAY HERE YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED ! Thanks you HYATUS!

Had a great stay! Would do again!

Summary: Great place for 3-4 people staying a week or more. Didn’t get a chance to use the gym, golf simulator, bowling, and oth I liked: Close to Yale. Designated parking. Powerful shower, very refreshing. Secure access. Towels were clean. Lots of kitchen utensils if you plan cooking. We didn’t really need it for 2-3 days stay. And I didn’t get a chance to use the gym, bowling, golf games they had on the first floor. Filtered water pitcher in the fridge. Washer and dryer in unit. Prompt Text messages for questions. I did not like: 1. Noise from the street. May be a problem for light sleepers. 2. Cannabis odor in the bedroom, despite the windows being closed. Most likely from residents smoking outside. It did subside later at night. 3. Shower grout needs cleaning. 4. Furniture needs repair and cleaning. For example the sofa needed cleaning and the tea table was wobbly. Kitchen cabinet with trim pealing off. 5. Facial tissue would be nice.
