French Polynesia (Fiji, Bora Bora, Moorea)

French Polynesia is home to some of the most beautiful and luxurious vacation spots in the world. From the clear blue waters of Fiji to the stunning beaches of Bora Bora, there is no shortage of places to relax and enjoy yourself. Moorea is another great option, with its lush green mountains and dramatic coastline. If you’re looking for a truly luxurious vacation, French Polynesia is the place to go. With high-end hotels and spas catering to your every need, it’s easy to forget that this is also one of the cheapest destinations on our list. With so many incredible locations available, your perfect vacation may be just around the corner! Whether you want to experience an island paradise or are more interested in culture and history, French Polynesia has something for everyone. The best part is that many French Polynesian resorts offer free shuttle services to nearby towns or cities where travelers can take advantage of these amenities. Not sure where to start? Here are five top picks:

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve: Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve is a National Marine Life Refuge near Honolulu, Hawaii. The bay offers excellent snorkeling opportunities, providing close-up views of sea turtles and dolphins. The hike down from the parking lot includes over 600 steps but once you get down into the bay it’s worth every step! Once at the bottom, take your time looking around at all of the fish swimming around you before heading back up again! Be sure to wear shoes appropriate for climbing stairs. Coral Garden Snorkel Trail: Coral Garden Snorkel Trail provides a nice way to see tropical fish without having to go deep underwater. You’ll have access to equipment such as masks, fins, and snorkels which are provided on-site. Another great thing about this location is that guests do not have to worry about carrying their gear with them; all they have to do is put it on when they arrive and then head out onto the trail! After completing the trail (which takes between 20 minutes and 30 minutes), head back up to grab a refreshing drink before continuing your day on Waikiki Beach! While the trails are not a breathtaking type of scenery, it is a great and inexpensive alternative to other types of ocean adventures. This is especially good for kids who might get tired easily in the water. Bring cash for tips as well as lockers for storage on your return trip. Coral Garden Snorkel Trail

Hotel Hilton Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa: Visitors can choose between regular rooms with two queen size beds or family rooms that include four double beds for those staying with children. For those interested in staying here but don’t plan on getting married there like me, don’t be fooled by the resort part of the name because this place has many options available if you’re just looking for something less extravagant than a full-blown hotel! One of the best things to do while in Moorea is to explore the lush green vegetation, stop and smell the flowers, and take in a view of Mount Tohivea. There are many paths you can choose to follow, so pick one that appeals to you and start walking! This is one of my favorite spots on the island. One of my favorite restaurants on this side of the island is Uma Uma Island Bistro. The atmosphere is lovely, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. There’s also a poolside bar where you can relax with a drink after dinner! It’s located just outside one of the hotel resorts so it’s always busy with visitors enjoying drinks and lounging by the pool. Hotel Hilton Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa
