My husband and I joined the grandparents club 1/14/2026. We were in NY for the birth of our grandson and wanted to spend the month of February close to our daughter’s Mount Vernon apartment. We drove from Georgia with baby stuff, etc. Tatenda’s Airbnb met all of our needs, a spacious kitchen, living room area and bedroom. The 10 mile commute from Mount Vernon to White Plains was doable via the Bronx River Parkway. We are native New Yorkers and were able to navigate the blizzard because of the blessing of the garage once the roads were cleared. We would not have been able to help out without it. The lack of a garage was a show stopper when we were exploring suitable accommodations. Tatenda, was a warm and engaging host. She was very timely when responding to questions and inquiries. We had to make these arrangements at the last minute, so I was possibly less detailed in my overall scrutiny than it was in getting the dates we needed in the general area we wanted. Much to our delight, this property delivered every possible thing we needed or were looking for. It was a great stay at a really handy location for both my walking to the office and attend to our scheduled social obligations. We will definitely look at these properties again if we have the need.

Summary: Enjoyable stay in a modern property in a great location I liked: modern block in a very good and quiet area. wide selection of spices provided modern appliances We dealt with Tapiwa from Hyatus and Tatenda from Bookingcom. They were both very good and super efficient I did not like: 1.room needs a proper ironing board and not the mini board that is currently supplied 2. Clothes closet would be ideal

This beautiful, bright and airy apartment is so comfortable. It has plenty of closet and storage space, a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and cozy touches. Check-in is simple, and the management team responds very quickly to your questions. Train service is less than 5 minutes away, and there are several enjoyable restaurants within easy walking distance.

The apartment was just as shown by the photos. Assembly square has a lot of good food options and is a very easy commute on the orange line to the city. Tatenda was vey helpful when needed.
